McKenna Jones

Dance Instructor

McKenna grew up dancing and competing at Dance Magic Performing Arts Center in Indianapolis, IN studying Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Modern, Acro, and Theatre. She also danced competitively for her school team at Mt. Vernon High School - Fortville in categories: Pom, Hip Hop, Jazz, and solo/ensemble. She and her team won multiple IHSDTA State Championships during her time. After High School, McKenna went to the University of Louisville to study Exercise Science. She was a member and captain of the 20x National Champion University of Louisville Ladybirds. She and her team won 7 National Championships in Team Performance and Hip Hop. She worked as a Head Instructor and was chosen for Core Staff for the Universal Dance Association for 6 years. She loved being able to connect with so many dance teams and dancers through camps held by UDA. McKenna also worked as a dance teacher at 360 Dance Studio and Planet Dance Allstars. After graduating with her degree in Exercise Science, she obtained her Personal Training Certification which she uses to train teams in strength/conditioning. Now, she's currently in her third season as a Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleader. She has had opportunities to choreograph and perform with artists overseas. When she is not working with the Buccaneers, she travels across the country to work with and choreograph for teams from Mini age all the way to College. Her life is filled with dance and she couldn't imagine it any other way.
