Our Dance Classes

Ages 2 & 3 ~ Students are introduced to basic ballet fundamentals, while exploring movement and music in a fun, creative way. Our instructors use imagination games, upbeat age-appropriate music and props to excite students about dance. Students will also work on classroom skills such as following directions, listening and social interaction. This class is a positive and fun first dance experience for all!

Ages 3-5 ~ Ballet and tap fundamentals are taught to introduce important dance basics such as stretching, concentration, rhythm, coordination and musicality. The purpose of this class is to provide a strong foundation for continued dance training as well as develop a love for dance itself.

Jazz/Tap Combo is then offered for students ages 6-7.

Starting at age 6 ~ Ballet is the foundation of all dance forms and will maximize technique and longevity in a career of dance. It provides grace, poise, and technique needed to be proficient in all other areas of dance. Ballet classes will help dancers with posture, flexibility, fitness, balance, self-discipline, and self-confidence.

Pre-Pointe/Pointe class requires a minimum of 3 years of Ballet training while also dual enrolled in Ballet technique classes.

Students must reach the age of 11 and be properly tested by our Ballet instructor prior to advancing into Pointe.

Ages 8 and up ~ Jazz will focus on learning proper dance technique such as isolations of the body, improving performance quality and developing movements into progressions and combinations. Class curriculum is based on ballet technique layered with traditional jazz movement.

Therefore class includes upper and lower body conditioning as well as a rigorous warm-up to help prepare students for more intense movements.
