Brian Collins

Dance Instructor

 

Brian found his love for dance five years ago when joined the Gulf Middle School’s dance program. Dance quickly became his passion and he decided to submerge himself with as much dance knowledge as he could. He joined Ignite Dance Company to formalize his training and began in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and Hip-Hop. Brian also competed with our Ignite Dance Competition team for two years, where he won many overall and judge’s awards.

 

In 2022, Brian was awarded the Title Winner "Mr.Bravo" Award for his self choreographed solo. Brian was also an active member of the Gulf High School dance department. This is where he began his passion for choreographing and teaching elements of dance to other dancers. Brian has also had the opportunity to broaden his experience and take classes at Broadway Lights Dance Company in Pensacola FL, PHSC, and various studios in the Tampa/ Orlando area. He also volunteers within the pasco county school district in their dance programs. He has learned valuable techniques on how to train dancers and focuses on them being the best version of themselves.

 

Brian has recently graduated in the top five of his class at Gulf High School and obtained his Associate of Arts Degree at PHSC. He plans to pursue his dance career by performing on a cruise ship or at theme parks in the area. After furthering  his performance career, he plans on completing his education with a Bachelor Degree in Business in hopes of opening up his own dance studio one day.
