STUDIO POLICIES

Our classes run from Aug-June with the conclusion of our year with our annual recital. All classes participate in our annual recital. Each class performs one dance. You will have to purchase one costume per dance that your child is performing in and purchase tights. Average cost per costume is $75.00 (tights priced separately).  Costume Half payment is required in November.  Full payment required in January.

 

TUITION POLICY 

Tuition is charged on a monthly basis and will stay the same regardless of the number of weeks per month or whether your child is absent from class. Payments are averaged for the entire year and are broken down into monthly payments based on 30+ weeks of classes. Tuition is due on the first day of each month. All tuition charges are added into your parent portal account after the 15th of the (previous) month, so you can go into your portal and pay your tuition anytime after it becomes visible in your account until the first of the month. All debit or credit card payments will be charged a $2.50 processing fee, which will be added to your Parent Portal along with your monthly tuition or costume charges. If making cash payments, our office will remove the monthly processing fee at the time the payment is made. >>> The portal DOES NOT withdraw your tuition payment automatically. If you would like to set up automatic payments, please return the Autopay Request Form that was included in your welcome packet to the desk or by email. If you were on Autopay last year, you must submit a new form in order to have Ignite deduct your payments automatically. A $10 late fee will automatically be added to accounts AFTER our 7th day grace period. Our full payment policy can be viewed in your Parent Portal.

DRESS CODE POLICY 

Princess & Ballet/Tap Combo, Jazz/Tap Combo - Any color leotard and tights. HAIR IN A BUN. Skirts may be worn as long as they are attached to the leotard. Ballet - Level 1-2 Any color leotard and tights. Level 3-5 Black leotard and pink tights. HAIR MUST BE WORN IN A CLEAN BUN. Skirts may be worn over leotards. No shorts are allowed. Hip Hop - Athletic clothes: Leggings or jogger type pants, tank tops or tshirts. No jeans, or JEAN SHORTS are allowed. ➢ IMPORTANT: Sneakers must ONLY be worn to class and brought back and forth in a dance bag so that dirt is not carried onto the dance floor. Hair may be worn in a ponytail if they don’t have another class on the same day. * School clothes are NOT acceptable attire for Hip Hop class. ➢ Please note that if students have another class back to back with hip hop, they should dress according to the OTHER class and then can wear pants and/or shirt over that. They will not be able to change in the bathroom. Other classes- Leotards with leggings over, boy shorts are allowed IF wearing tights. T-shirts may NOT be worn outside of hip hop classes. Acro students must wear leotards or biketards and their hair in a clean bun. BOYS – Hip Hop: Basketball shorts, joggers, t-shirts or tank tops. Other classes: Jazz pants and tank tops Jewelry is not worn in dance class. Gum chewing is not permitted at all in our building. 

 

SHOE POLICY 

Each class requires certain shoes, which if applicable, must be purchased thru our studio so that all students have the SAME shoes for our performances. Each class has different dance shoe requirements.  Please contact the studio to determine which shoes are needed for your classes.
