Studio Policies

STUDIO POLICIES

Our classes run from Aug-May with the conclusion of our year with our annual recital. All classes participate in our annual recital. Each class performs one dance. You will have to purchase one costume per dance that your child is performing in and purchase tights. Average cost per costume is $90.00.  Costume Half payment is required in November.  Full payment required in January.

 

TUITION POLICY 

Tuition is charged on a monthly basis and will stay the same regardless of the number of weeks per month or whether your child is absent from class. Payments are averaged for the entire year and are broken down into monthly payments based on 30 weeks of classes. Tuition is due on the first of each month and YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY DEBITED ON THE FIRST DAY of each month using the debit/credit card you have listed in your billing portion of your account. All debit or credit card payments will be charged an additional $2.50 processing fee, which will be added to your Parent Portal along with any monthly tuition/costume charges that are due. If your card is declined for any reason, we will attempt to contact you using the email registered in your Portal. Any account left unpaid for more than 72 hours will incur a $10 late fee. Our payment policy can be viewed at any time in your Parent Portal.

DRESS CODE POLICY 

Princess & Ballet/Tap Combo, Jazz/Tap Combo - Any color leotard and tights. Hair must be worn in a bun. Skirts may be worn as long as they are attached to the leotard. Ballet - Level 1-2 Any color leotard and tights. Level 3-5 Black leotard and pink tights. HAIR MUST BE WORN IN A BUN. Skirts may be worn over leotards. No shorts are allowed. Hip Hop - Athletic clothes: Leggings or jogger type pants, tank tops or tshirts. No jeans, or JEAN SHORTS are allowed. Hair in a ponytail or bun.                                              

➢ IMPORTANT: Sneakers must ONLY be worn to class and brought back and forth in a dance bag so that dirt is not carried onto the dance floor. Hair may be worn in a ponytail if they don’t have another class on the same day. Please note that if students have another class back to back with hip hop, they should dress according to the OTHER class and then can wear pants and/or shirt over that. They will not be able to change in the bathroom.                                                       * School clothes are NOT acceptable attire for Hip Hop class.                                                                                                                                Other classes - Leotards with leggings over, boy shorts are allowed IF wearing tights. T-shirts may NOT be worn outside of hip hop classes. Acro students must wear leggings with a leotard or sports bra. Jewelry must be removed for safety. Hair worn in a clean bun.

BOYS – Hip Hop: Basketball shorts, joggers, t-shirts or tank tops. Other classes: Jazz pants and tank tops.

** Jewelry is not worn in dance class. Gum chewing is not permitted.

SHOE POLICY 

Each class requires certain shoes, which must be purchased thru our studio so that all students have the SAME shoes for our performances. If you have shoes purchased elsewhere, you are able to use them… so long as they are the same type of shoe needed for that particular class, and then purchase the correct color shoes from our studio once performance time comes around. If you need to purchase any dance shoes throughout the year, simply go to the desk and notify them that you need to be sized and we will size and order them for you. Shoe costs vary and will be added to your portal.
